The location of the hotel is convenient for exploring the city, with it being within walking distance of the city centre. Guests can easily take a leisurely walk into town each day. there is a beautiful garden nearby, called the Plantation, which guests can visit and enjoy.
One negative aspect mentioned by guests is that there is some traffic noise from a busy road nearby. this noise seems to be minimal and does not significantly disturb guests, especially during the night when it is surprisingly quiet.

We had a fantastic Christmas stay at this cozy and welcoming hotel. The warm and friendly welcome from the hosts made us feel right at home. The well-appointed room provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a comfortable bed and tea/coffee making facilities. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the city center and all its attractions.
The slightly dated decor, but it didn't detract from the overall enjoyable experience.

Comfortable and delicious B&B, located within walking distance of city centre. Rooms are tastefully decorated and come with fresh milk for tea. Breakfast has a wide variety of options and is freshly made each day. the individual toasters at each table are a nice touch.
The rooms do not have air conditioning and may become stuffy during hot summer months. Some rooms may also be noisy due to proximity to busy street.
